Age: Lower age should be 17 years as on 31.12.15 & upper age limit should be maximum 25 years as on 31.12.15. The upper age limit may be relaxed by five year for SC/ST candidates.
B.Sc. Nursing (4 years): Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English(PCBE) with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
Age: Lower age should be 17 years as on 31.12.15 & upper age limit should be maximum 35 years as on 31.12.15.
B.A.LL.B/BBA LL.B/B.Sc LL.B(5 years): 10+2 pass or equivalent in any stream with at least 45% marks.
For B.Sc. LL.B candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent in the science stream with at least 45% marks

POSTGRADUATE COURSES 
For MCA (3 years): Any Graduate with minimum 50% marks in graduation or equivalent having mathematics either in 10+2 or graduation level-as one of the subject.
Candidate should have been born on or after 01.07.1991.
For M.Tech. (2 years): B.E. or B.Tech. or equivalent Degree (e.g. AMIE, GRADE-IETE etc) in respective branches of Engineering and Technology with a First Class or equivalent CGPA or First Class MCA/First Class M.Sc. in (Comp/IT/ETC)
GATE qualified candidates shall be accorded preference in the process of selection. GATE qualified candidates having Score 400 or above need not sit in the entrance Examination.
For MCA (Lateral Entry) (2 years): Passed or appearing in 2015,for the bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration in BCA, B.Sc(IT/Computer Science) from any university or from a recognized university as defined by UGC\and must have passed in Mathematics as course at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level.Business Mathematics at +2 level are not permitted. The minimum education requirement shall be passing of B.Sc.Nursing/B.Sc.Hons.Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with Minimum of 55% aggregate marks.(5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates)
The candidate should have undergone B.Sc.Nursing/B.Sc.Hons.Nursing.PostBasic
B.Sc.Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing.
Candidate should be medically fit.
For Master of Mass Communication: Any Graduate with minimum 50% marks in graduation or equivalent.

RESEARCH PROGRAMME 
For Ph.D: Candidate having M.Tech/ME/ MCA/MBA or equivalent Degree with minimum 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA or M.Sc/MA/M.Com/LLM or an equivalent degree with minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent.
For all the courses, candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply. But, they have to produce the pass certificate of the qualifying examination on the day of counseling failing which their rank/position secured in the entrance Examination will stand cancelled automatically and they will have no claim for the admissions as per the rank.
How to Apply:
Application Procedure
Application Form and Prospectus will be available online only. It will not be available in hard copy. Candidates have to apply online at website or website or they can download it from the website.
The ‘Online Application Form’ will be accepted after the following steps are completed:-
  • Browse KIIT website  or website
  • Select ‘Online Application’/‘Download’ option. (If you want to download, take the print out of downloaded Application Form’).
  • Go through the Instructions to fill up the form.
  • Fill up ‘Online Application Form’ and submit.
  • Take the print out of Application Form mentioning the Registration Number.
  • Paste the Photographs in the space provided for it.
  • Sign on ‘Signature’ columns both by candidate and parent/guardian.
  • Despatch the Form along with two passport size photographs pasted in appropriate place and 10th Pass Certificate/Mark sheet.
Candidates should retain photocopies of ‘printed application form’ which may serve as reference for future correspondence.
The online application will be accepted subject to receipt of printed application, photographs and copy of 10th Pass Certificate/Mark sheet only.
For downloaded application form
The candidates have to fill up all the fields very carefully and send it with the photographs and 10th Pass Certificate/Mark sheet.
The print out of online Application form or filled in downloaded application form should be submitted in person/by post (Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier) to “The Director, Admissions, KIIT University, Koel Campus, Bhubaneswar – 751024, Odisha, India” so as to reach on or before Dt. 25.03.2015, 5.00 p.m. 
Information on receipt of applications at KIIT will be available in the website . Candidates can check status of their Application Form on the website after 20 days of its dispatch to KIIT.

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun has announced the exam dates for UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT), which will be conducted in May 2015. The UPESEAT will be held onSaturday, May 16, 2015.
UPESEAT is conducted for taking admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) offered in various specializations, Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan), Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and B.Tech+LL.B honors programs for the session 2015.
Eligibility Criteria:
  1. Admission through UPESEAT 2015 (80% seats)
  • Candidates need to have passed in 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 60% of total marks.
  • The candidate must have obtained an aggregate of at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  1. Admission through Board Merit/JEE (20% seats)
  2. Board Merit:
  • Candidates should have passed in 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 80% marks.
  • Candidates need to have obtained an aggregate of at least 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  1. JEE Main 2015:
  • Candidates need to have passed in 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 60% of total marks.

Age Limit: The candidates must be born on or after October 01, 1993.
Selection Procedure:
The selection procedure is based on score of the candidate in UPESEAT 2015 followed by central counselling or Centralized Counseling through Merit rank for Non Exam Category.
Paper Pattern:
The exam will have five sections:
  • Physics: 50 questions
  • Chemistry: 50 questions
  • Maths: 50 questions
  • English Language Comprehension: 30 questions
  • Current Affairs Awareness: 20 questions
Total: 200 questions
Exam Duration: 3 hours

Online: Candidates can apply online on the UPES Website and will need to remit application fees using Debit/Credit Cards or Net Banking
Offline: Candidates may purchase prospectus and application form from the designated admissions centres in Ahmedabad / Chandigarh/ Cochin / Coimbatore / Delhi / Dehradun / Hyderabad / Kolkata / Mumbai.
The filled form along with the application fee should reach the office before May 3, 2015.

Counselling:
  • The UPESEAT 2015 Counselling Process shall be a centralized process with 80% of the seats reeserved for UPESEAT 2015 qualifying candidates and the remaining 20% through Board Merit or JEE Main 2015 scores.
  • Candidates will have to attend UPESEAT 2015 Counselling Process in person with original certificates for document verification.

AMU 2015 Engineering Eligibility Criteria

AMU engineering entrance exam eligibility criteria is a pre-defined benchmark which a candidate must fulfill to get admission engineering courses offered by AMU. AMU 2015 engineering eligibility criteria is given below. 

AMU 2015 Engineering Eligibility Criteria

AMU 2015 Engineering Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.):
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 form a recognized university.
  • Candidate must have scored at least 50% marks in their qualifying exam.
  • Candidate should have passed their qualified exam with physics, chemistry and maths.
  • If candidate does not posses certificate of qualifying exam then he/she must have a Diploma in engineering from AMU
  • In the above mentioned Diploma candidate should have scored at least 50% marks.

AMU 2015 Engineering Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Engineering (B.E., Evening):

  • Candidate must should have passed his/her qualifying exam for a recognized university and should have acquired equivalent or more than 50% marks in it.
  • OR candidate should have a Diploma in engineering, in relevant branch, from AMU.
  • In Diploma candidate should have scored 50% marks.

To Keep in Mind About AMU 2015 Engineering Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates should fulfill all the eligibility criteria otherwise they will be dismissed form admission process.
  • If candidates qualify written exam but do not fulfill the eligibility criteria they will be disqualified.
  • If candidate fails in their qualifying exam but pass in AMUEEE, they will be not get admission in AMU.
  • If the board of qualifying exam is not recognized by AMU, candidate will be declared as in ineligible.
  • Candidates who will be waiting for their Compartmental / Supplementary / Improvement resultdo not fall under AMU 2015 eligibility criteria.
Candidates are advise to check the eligibility criteria thoroughly before applying for AMUEEE. If the payment of application fee is made and then candidate realize that they do not fulfill the laid down eligibility criteria of AMU. Their application fee will not be reimbursed, irrespective of whether they give the exam or not.

AMU 2015 Engineering Entrance Exam

AMU 2015 Engineering Entrance Exam will be held in May 2015. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is one of the oldest and best university of the country. Every year AMU conducts AMU Engineering Entrance Exam for the intake of students in courses related to engineering.
AMU 2015 Engineering Entrance Exam is only for admission in undergraduate courses. Interested candidates are advised to read and understand the following information carefully.

AMU 2015 Engineering Eligibility Criteria

(A) Eligibility criteria to write AMU Engineering Entrance Exam for Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) is:
  • Candidates should have scored, at least, an aggregate of 50% in XII
  • Or should have scored at least 50% in any qualifying exam which is conducted by recognized institution (recognized by state or central education board). Candidate’s qualifying exam should be with Physics, Chemistry and Maths
  • Or Candidate should have a Diploma in Engineering (with minimum aggregate of 50%) from Aligarh Muslim University
(B) Eligibility criteria to write AMU Engineering Entrance Exam for Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)
is:
  • Candidates should have a Diploma in Engineering, recognized from Aligarh Muslim University
  • Minimum aggregate in Diploma should be 50%

AMU 2015 Engineering Application Form

Application form of AMU 2015 Engineering Entrance Exam will be available online only. Official dates are not yet but tentatively the form is expected to be out in March 2015. Interested candidates can register themselves online via official website of AMU.
For successful intake of application form candidates should ensure that information mentioned by them should be authentic and updated. False information may lead to disqualification of candidate. Candidates should also make sure that no areas is left unfilled during online registration, else this may again lead to the same. When application form will be filled successfully, it will be automatically saved (in PDF format) in applicant’s account. Candidates are advised to secure hard copy of application form as well.
Application fee of AMU 2015 Engineering Entrance Exam can be paid via Demand Draft or in Cash.
A Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- is to be generated, in favor of ‘Finance Office, AMU, Aligarh’ payable at Aligarh. For application payment via cash, candidates can directly pay the fee to finance office of AMU and will receive receipt in return.

AMU 2015 Engineering Exam Pattern

  • AMU Engineering Entrance Exam will be of 3 hour
  • Total of 150 questions will be there in exam and candidates will have to attempt all of them
  • Question type in exam will be multiple choice. Candidates will have to choose one correct answer out of many.
  • Each question will be of 1 marks
  • Negative marking of 1/4 marks will be done for each wrong answer marked by candidate.

AMU 2015 Engineering Seat Reservation

50% seats are reserved for Muslim candidates by AMU. Apart from this, no other category is provided privilege of seat reservation in any of the courses in AMU 2015 Engineering Entrance Exam.

AMU 2015 Engineering Entrance Exam Result

Result of AMU exam is usually declared in July but this may or may not differ. To check result candidates can access the official website and enter roll number and password or any other information required. Result as well the merit list will be displayed automatically. Candidates can generate a hard copy of it for future reference.

AMU 2015 Engineering Counselling

Counselling round of AMU is for those candidates who secure place in merit list. Candidate are supposed to be present physically in counselling round. Candidates will be called in the order of their rank and will be allotted seat as per their choice, for course. Verification of documents also happens in counselling round. Documents should be authentic. Required documents are:
  • Call letter of counselling (original and photocopy)
  • Admit card (original and photocopy)
  • Demand Draft of admission fee
  • Original documents of class X and XII (2 set of photocopy as well)
  • Rank Card
  • Medical fitness document

JEE Main 2015 Overview

JEE Main 2015, the third Joint Entrance Examination(Main) will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) under the ministry of human resource development, GOI. The JEE Main 2015 will be conducted the JEE Apex Board for admission to undergraduate Engineering Programs in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc.

For admission to NITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) like IIITs etc. and other participating Institutions, the merit/rank list shall be prepared based on 40% weightage to school Boards marks in class 12th or equivalent examination and 60% weightage to JEE (Main). The weightage to school Board/Equivalent examination marks shall be considered only after normalization

The State of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Nagaland & Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system; therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State level examination, are also advised to fill the JEE (Main) 2015 application form online.

B. Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination (QE)

Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2013 or 2014: or those who are appearing the their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2015 are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) - 2015 Candidates who passed Class 12th/Qualifying examination in 2012 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2016 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2015 The candidates who appeared in class 12th/equivalent qualifying Examinations in 2012, did not pass in 2012, but passed in 2013 are also not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2015 The candidates willing to appear for improvement examination of class 12th in 2015 have to appear in all the 4/5 subjects as per the scheme of study of the concerned board Further, they may also note that in the percentile system, the total marks (of all five subjects) obtained/shown on the mark-sheet of a particular year are required in JEE (Main) and also in JEE (Advanced) The marks from two different years (i.e. marks for 3 subjects from year 2014 and marks for other 2 subjects from 2015) mark-sheets cannot be considered for percentile calculation

Eligibility Nationality:
The applicant for admission should be a resident Indian national and (i) should have studied in schools located in India in the preceding two years for admission to Undergraduate program (ii) should have studied in educational institutions in India and completed their qualifying examination
B.Tech.: A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent and (a) For all programs: Minimum 70% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry (b) For biotechnology, biomedical engineering, bioinformatics and genetic engineering: Minimum 70% aggregate in Mathematics /Biology, Physics and Chemistry
Admission Procedure
For B.Tech Program: The admission will be purely on the basis of the performance in the Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by SRM University
