The application is invited by VITEEE 2016 for getting admission in various disciplines of engineering and technology. It is a well-known engineering examination conducted by one of the top engineering colleges of India i.e. Vellore Institute of Technology. Application form will be available from first week of december.The last date of submitting the application form will be February, 2016. The examination will be held in between April 6, 2016 to April 17, 2016.

VITEEE 2016 Minimum Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to go through the eligibility criteria details mentioned below if they are really interested in getting admission into this college:
- Candidates should have passed their 10+2 examination with subjects’ physics, chemistry, mathematic or biology and secured 50% as their aggregate marks. Candidates, going to appear in the 10+2 examination, which will be held in the month of March and April, are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) background are eligible to apply for any disciplines of engineering offered by VIT.
- Candidates with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) background are eligible to apply for the BTech Bioinformatics, Bio-medical engineering and Biotechnology programmes only.
How to Apply VITEEE Examination 2016
Interested and Eligible candidates can apply through online as well as offline mode. In case you are applying online, you need to go through the official website of Vellore Institute of Technology i.e. www.vit.ac.in. Otherwise, you can obtain the application form just by sending the demand draft of Rs. 975, should be drawn in the favor of VIT University. You are free to send the demand draft from registered post-office branch.

VITEEE 2016 Examination Pattern
The question paper, candidates will find with four different sections: (Part I- Physics), (Part II- Chemistry), (Part III-Mathematics), (Part IV- Biology).
Every part of the question paper will contain 40 objective questions and each will carry 1 mark. There is no negative marking system specified by the college. Candidates are required to attempt only 3 among 4 parts of the question paper. Suppose one of the candidates has attempted all the four sections then the evaluation will be done based on 3 parts only.
Eligible candidates who have applied for engineering courses are required to attempt Part I, II, and III. Those who have selected bio-medical sciences will have to attempt part-I, II, IV and others who have completed or appearing 10+2 examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, can attempt Part I, II, III or Part I, II, IV; based on their choice.

After the successful registration, candidates will be eligible to download their respective admit card from the official of Vellore Institute of Technology.
