CG PPT 2015 Overview
Chhattisgarh Pre-Polytechnic Test 2015 will be conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) Raipur. The CGPPT 2015 examination will be conducted for the admission to the various government polytechnics and private institutions offering the diploma courses in the field of engineering and technology. The examination will be held over the various centres across the state. The CGPEB runs and regulates the entire activities about this examination from admission notification to allotment of the seats and colleges.

Eligibility

The candidates must be passed in 10th or High School Examination or its equal from state board or any other government recognized board with mathematics and science. For general candidates only, the least passing marks should not less than 35% of the total marks. The candidates should be passed in math and science separately. The candidates appearing for the 10th examination may also fill the application form. In that case they should have to show their passing certificates at the time of counselling. The candidates must be the residents of Chhattisgarh state and have to submit the domicile certificate to the board. The candidates must not exceed the maximum age of 30 years as on or before 1st July 2014.

Application Fees

The candidates may submit their application fees through the net Banking, credit card or debit card. The application fees are as the following:
For general candidates – Rs. 300/-
For OBCs candidates – Rs. 250/-
For SC/ST candidates – Rs. 200/-

CGPPT 2015 Application Process

The admission will be available on the 1st week of April 2015 on the official portal of the board. The application will be accepted through the online mode only. The candidates will have to register for the application and get the application form. Candidates will be suggested to fill the detail correctly. After filling the form the candidates will have to submit the application fee and save the 12 digit registration ID for the further reference.

Seat Quota

In the government institutions 100% seats will be reserved for the State domiciled candidates. In all private institutions the state quota is 85% and the management quota is 15% of the total available seats. The seats will be allotted as per the merit scores of the candidates. The reservation will be made as per the rule of the AICTE.

Documents Required in Counselling

All candidates will be suggested to bring the following documents at the time of counselling:
  • CG PPT Admit Card 2015
  • Photocopies and original of academic certificates
  • Counselling application form
  • 10th class mark sheet
  • CG PPT Result 2015 score card
  • Domicile certificate of Chhattisgarh
  • Bank draft of 200 Rs. 200/- as counselling fee
  • Two colored passport size photograph
  • Reservation class certificate

Exam Pattern

In this examination there will be only multiple type questions. There is no negative marking and each correct answer will be awarded with one mark only. Candidates will be required to use only Blue or Black ballpoint pen. The question paper will consist of 200 questions. The examination will be of 3 hours duration. The examination will be held tentatively on the second week of May 2015.
Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CG PET 2015) is an entrance test conducted by the directorate of technical education, Chhattisgarh for admission to various government and private engineering colleges of Chhattisgarh. Every year thousands of students appear for CG PET for taking admission to the top engineering colleges of Chhattisgarh. Eligibility Criteria

The candidates, who are appearing for the CG PET exam 2015, must fulfill the eligibility conditions. The eligibility criteria are explained below:
The candidates appearing for the exam must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board or university. The candidates appearing for the 10+2 examination in 2015 are also eligible to apply.
The candidates must have studied Physics, Math’s and Chemistry/Biology at 10+2 level.
The candidates must belong to Chhattisgarh or must have studies 10th and 12th from schools or colleges located at Chhattisgarh.
The candidates passed must have passed with 50% marks in class 12th (40% in case of reserved category candidates).
The candidate must be 17 yrs of age on or before 31 December 2014, the upper age limit is not more than 25 yrs on or before 1st July 2015.

The candidates who are appearing for the CG PET exam must understand the pattern of the exam, so that they don’t face any problem in the examination. The CG PET exam pattern has been discussed below:

The candidates must note that the exam pattern of CG PET described above is based on the previous year pattern, and may change as per the guidelines issued by DTE, Chhattisgarh.

CG PET Admission Procedure

The candidates after qualifying the examination have to appear in the counseling process, the colleges are allotted to the students as per their rank in the CG PET examinations.
