2013-Maharashtra Engineering Exam



Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is held for admission to all private, Government, Aided & Unaided engineering universities/colleges in Maharashtra for undergraduate Engineering courses. Candidates can get admitted to Engineering courses of 10 universities and their affiliated colleges on their scores in MHT CET.

CET 2013 Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates should have passed the 10+2 level or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from Maharashtra Board or any recognized board/university. They must have obtained 50% marks in PCM. 5% relaxation is for Maharashtra backward classes. Final year candidates can also apply.

CET 2013 Application Forms :

There will be a common form for all Engineering, Health Science and Pharmacy Courses. The Application forms with brochures will be available at the schools/junior colleges where candidates have studied in Maharashtra. Candidates must submit the filled application forms in their schools on or before the last date

CET 2013 Important Dates (Tentative) :
Sale of the Application Forms: March, 2013
Last Date for submission the forms: Last Week of March, 2013
Date of CET: Second Week of May 2013
Result Date: Second Week of June 2013

Please keep in mind that the dates are only tentative and are not final.

CET 2013 Pattern for Engineering :

The entrance exam for engineering entrance will have two papers. 50 questions from physics and 50 questions from chemistry will be asked in the 1st Paper and the 2nd paper will have 100 questions from mathematics. All questions of the both papers will be objective type with four options of the 12th standard. The exam lasts for 1 and a half hours each.
