NERIST NEE Engineering Entrance Examination for aspiring students for admission
in degree, diploma and certificate courses called NERIST entrance examination
(NEE). The North Eastern regional Institute
of Science and technology
is very popular technical institute in the country and well known for its
excellence learning atmosphere for the students.
Every year, this institute conducts the NERIST NEE
Engineering Entrance Examination for admission in various engineering courses
and for each course there will be separate entrance examination. NERIST NEE
Engineering Entrance Examination is conducted for admissions at three levels
:-NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III to the Engineering & Technology branches of
technology stream (Base Module, Diploma Module & Degree Module); and Degree
Module in Forestry stream through NEE-II only.)
Eligibility:-
NEE:-The candidates should be Indian citizen of 19 years. Minimum qualification should be 10 passed or equivalent. Some relaxation may be for reservation category as per the government rules.
NEE II: - The candidates should have passed 12th with PCMB in science stream for the technology and forestry program. Age should be 23 years.
NEE III: - The candidates should have passed three year diploma degree from recognized poly technique institute or equivalent degree with 60% marks in the final examination. The age should be 40 years.

Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: - 28th February, 2013

NERIST NEE entrance exam application form can download the application form from the official website of the institute. The candidates can also buy the application forms from North Eastern regional centers. The application forms are also available from the selected branches of Axis Bank and the fee of application form is Rs 750 for General/OBC and Rs 400 for ST/SC/PD.
