Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance
Examination (VITEEE 2013) is very competitive entrance examination popularly
known as "VITEEE" 2013 for admission into various courses in engineering
and technology. This entrance examination is conducted only for admission to
undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Vellore University,
which has the time period two and half hour having multiple choice type
examination to get the admission into various engineering courses.

The candidates should have passed 12th examination with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics, Biology and English with 60% marks from the recognized board. SC/ST Candidates can get the relaxation up to only 50% marks. The final year students can also appear in the entrance examination. The candidates should be an Indian citizen and they should have at least 17 years of age. Those students are in the final year of 12th examination, can apply for this entrance examination. Those candidates have Physics, Chemistry and Biology eligible for B.Tech Bioinformatics, Bio-Medical engineering and Biotechnology programmes.
