MIT Chairman Message :-

Entering a college from school is a big transition for most students and for their families as well. First year is a time to explore new programs, courses and experiences. Until now parents have likely been very involved in ward's education, they helped them take important decisions, but from the moment students are admitted to the institute, they are treated as adults, in the sense that, for all academic, financial and other matters, Institute deals directly with the students, but not with their parents. This is an obligation and an important part of their development into responsible citizens. Parents are here advised to encourage their wards to become more independent during their Institute experience to allow them to succeed in Institution and near future. The concept of "doing the best" rather than "being the best" should be promoted.Parents should also encourage the on-campus involvement of their wards, to use library facilities, explore the internet, participate in association activities, games and other activities outside of classroom, because, such students tend to perform better academically as well. MIT does every possible thing to create and develop ragging-free rich scholarly environment where students can feel safe to learn, work and live.

About MIT M.E/M.Tech Course :-

Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it is allowed by the Institute.The scope of the course varies from material research to machinery development, Nano Technology, Smart materials, Aerospace Technology, Missiles technology, CAD/CAM, FMS, CIM, Automation and such other interrelated developments.
