Admission Details of SCTIT Bangalore:-

·         Should have passed the two years Pre-University Examination of Govt. of Karnataka or XII standard or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology or Electronics securing a minimum of 45% of marks on aggregate.

·         B.Sc. graduates are eligible for admission if they have secured a minimum of 45% of marks on aggregate of Chemistry or Electronics or Computer Science in addition to Physics and Mathematics.

·         The candidates holding three-year Diploma in appropriate branch of engineering conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Govt. of Karnataka, or any other equivalent qualification recognized by VTU with at least 50% of the total maximum marks in the final examination of the Diploma course are eligible for admission to the second year of B.E courses in the corresponding branch.

·         Candidates belonging to Schedule caste (SC) and Schedule tribes (ST) or other backward classes specified by the Govt. of Karnataka for such purpose shall be eligible for admission, if they have passed the qualifying examinations with not less than 40% of marks on aggregate in optional subjects.
