Akshaya Education Trust was established in the year 2003 with the mission of imparting the best quality education to all sections of the society. The Trust has rendered the service to the society in the field of education and health by establishing an engineering college, nursing college and college of education. The college has their own building with highly qualified staff and good infrastructure. The Trust is proud that the students are placed well, around the country and abroad.
AKSHAYA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY started PG courses in the year 2012. The campus is spread over 25 acres of land with lush green lawns away from the maddening crowd. The campus has wide spread buildings with an administrative block and an academic block, there are spacious lecture halls and well equipped laboratories. There is a well-stocked library and a tidy workshop.

The establishment of Akshaya Institute of Technology patronized by Akshaya Education Trust one of the renowned educational institutions imparting education since 2003. Hard work and perseverance made this dream project a reality. No stone is left unturned to make this Endeavour to a grand success.
Now the grand edifice is built in the lush green environment away from bubbling city atmosphere to house the engineering courses with well experienced faculty, rich library attached with digital library and fully loaded labs and work shop. I gratefully acknowledge the co-operation rendered by members of the trust particularly efforts of Dr. S.Shobha, Managing Trustee.
I thank all those responsible for inception of this new engineering college in Tumkur.
