The Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology (ACET) was established by Akshaya Charitable Trust in the year 2009. The trust has been founded by professionals having 25+ years experience in industry. The trust aims at imparting high quality education with strong ethics to its students and craft them into global professionals. The institution is headed by a renowned professor, Dr. K. Thanushkodi, Syndicate member of Anna University, Coimbatore having 35+ years of teaching, research and administrative experinces in GCT and other Government Engineering colleges.

ACET Chairman Message:-

I feel honoured to join hands with my friends to start Akshaya Charitable Trust for a great social cause. The motive and motto of our trust is to provide excellent, affordable and quality technical education to the rural youth who are underprivileged and disadvantaged section of our society. A great change can be brought into the society only by the highly educated people by creating awareness among masses and to eradicate certain social evils ie. Corruption, child labour and poverty etc. I derive extreme pleasure whenever I remember my great Grandfather Mr. Pandithamani Kathiresan Chettiar, who is a vibrant inspirational source for me to venture into the field of education.
I am a true admirer of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam whose vision and prediction is of India becoming superpower in 2020 is imminent. In order to accomplish this goal we need to produce highly qualified and technically sound technocrats. I am a firm believer of thorough professionalism and ethical values. Apart from imparting quality Technical Education, we are committed to instill professional ethics into the minds of budding young generation of rural sector.
A nation’s strength and potential is assessed not only by the military power, arms and ammunitions and nuclear weapons but also by intellectual visionaries and technically sound technocrats and enlightened personalities from different fields with innovative far-sightedness, who effectively guide our educated youth and our nation on the path of development with their concerted and unisonal effort. So our Government should always be ever ready to provide and protect their interest at any cost. Eventually I appeal to all our Akshaya products to be innovative and fearless in all their endeavours and I once again wish them to set the Thames on fire in the future.
