Marudhar Engineering College, Bikaner was established in 2003. MEC is the first self financed college in Bikaner division offering courses in Engineering, Management Studies and Pharmaceutical Sciences. It offers B.Tech in two shifts with six branches in I shift and four branches in II shift. In the session 2010-11 it introduced M.Tech in Digital Communication (ECE) and Power System (EE) and it launched M.Tech in Computer Science (CSE) and Production Engineering (ME) in the session 2011-12. The college is affiliated with RTU, Kota and approved by AICTE.Swami Keshvanand Institute of Pharmacy (SKIP) was established in 2005 and offers four years bachelor degree program in Pharmacy course, affiliated to RUHS, Jaipur and approved by PCI, New Delhi.Master of Business Administration was established in 2007 offering specialization in Finance, Marketing & Human Resources affiliated to RTU, Kota.The College has been duly admitted as institutional member of the Indian Society for Technical Education from 2007 with 38 faculty members as life time members and students’ chapter has been started with 600 students as its members.

However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it is allowed by the Institute.The scope of the course varies from material research to machinery development, Nano Technology, Smart materials, Aerospace Technology, Missiles technology, CAD/CAM, FMS, CIM, Automation and such other interrelated developments.
