Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Engineering College, Chennai was establiseh in 1994. The college began with with the establishment of Dhanaraj Baid Jain College (Arts & Science) in 1972. The relentless pursuit of service exhibited by the founder trustees of team trust, particularly the efforts of Dr. C.L. Metha, Sri.M.Lalchand Munoth-the chairman of the trust, who made a handsome donation of Rs. 10 lakhs, enabled the start of Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Polytechnic in 1984, which is named after Sri. Misrimal Navajee Munoth, father of Sri. M. Lalchand Munoth. The college is affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE, Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Engineering College.With the background of providing educational service about which TEAM Trust can well be proud of and with the enthusiasm, cooperation of several other donors and well wishers the institution has made all round progress.The college has state of the art infrastructure and is located on a sprawling campus measuring 16.86 acres of land out of which 5 acres of land was acquired by the college in the year 2001. The college has a built up area of over 3,49,000 Sq.ft. In line with the purpose defined by the TEAM Trust and in synchronization with the aim set out for the college, following are the objectives of Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Engineering College.

Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field. This is generally a 2-years for  specialization program in a specific branch of engineering or a technical field. ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere.
