SCMS School of Engineering and Technology, Ernakulam was established in 2001. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. SSET is one among the first ten colleges to be set up in the state under the private self-financing scheme. It has been promoted by the SCMS Group of Educational Institutions, has been in the forefront of providing quality professional education in engineering & technology.SCMS School of Engineering & Technology (SSET) is one of the leading institutions providing quality professional education in Engineering & Technology.SSET is the second largest engineering college set up under the self financing scheme in Kerala.The college is spread over 29 acres and is one among the first ten colleges to be set up in the State under the private self-financing scheme. About SSET M.E/M.Tech Course :-

Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it is allowed by the Institute.The scope of the course varies from material research to machinery development, Nano Technology, Smart materials, Aerospace Technology, Missiles technology, CAD/CAM, FMS, CIM, Automation and such other interrelated developments.
