Acharya Prafulla Chandra (APC) Ray Polytechnic, Kolkata  established in 1950 was formally known as Kolkata Silpa Mandir. The name of the college is given after the name of the famous scientist Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray. The college is associated with National Council, Bengal from 1950-1962.

Admission Criteria:Admission by showing their class X certificate and result. After passing the JEXPO examination successfully. 60% of the seats of Polytechnic are filled up through Jexpo, Through ‘Poly-40’ merit list based on Madhyamik percentage.
