Gandhi Engineering College, Bhubaneswar was established in 2006.The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to BPUT. The college is committed to impart quality technical education. Admission Details of GEC, Bhubaneswar :-

• Selection of Candidates should be 10+2 or Intermediate.
  

OJEE

• Canditate should have qualified through Orissa - JEE conducted by state government or AIEEE conducted by CBSE, New Delhi or common entrance test (CET) conducted by orissa private engineering . For admission to 2nd year through lateral entry the student should pass diploma engg. / polytechnic in corresponding branch with min. 60% of marks and qualified through orissa JEE
  

AIEEE

• Canditate should have qualified through Orissa - JEE conducted by state government or AIEEE conducted by CBSE, New Delhi or common entrance test (CET) conducted by orissa private engineering colleges association, Orissa.
  
• The student should have passed the higher secondary (10 + 2) with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of computer science / biology / bio-technology / chemistry subjects.
  
• For admission to 2nd year through lateral entry the student should pass diploma engg. / polytechnic in corresponding branch with min. 60% of marks and qualified through orissa JEE.
  

LATERAL ENTRY ADMISSION
Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education or Equivalent after undergoing regular course of three years study in an approved institution are eligible for admission.

Fees structure:

The fees Structure for BE is 480000 per year and Mtech is around750000 per year

Information is the most important input in the making of intellectuals.Recognizing the potential of library in providing information service to meet the requirements of the student’s academic and research programs as well to cater the teaching fraternity,the library was set up as one of the key divisions of the Gandhi Engineering College in 2006.Since then it is acting as the main information and learning resourse center of the college.
The library,spread over 9000 sq.ft. of carpet area, has a rich collection of more than 19703 text and reference books.Also it subscribes to 94 numbers of national and International periodicals.Scores of audio visual teaching materials like NPTEL also adds to its collection.
