Online applications are invited for admission into PG Regular and Self-financing Courses of Sambalpur University for the academic session 2015-16

P.G. Regular Courses

Antropology/Business Administration/ Chemistry/Earth Sciences (Applied Geology)/ Economics/ English/ Environmental Science / History/Home Science/Law /Life Sciences/Mathematics/Odia/Physics / Political Science / Sociology/Statistics/Library and Information Science/ PGDCA/PG Diploma in Translation Studies / Performing Arts (Dance and Drama) / Hindi / PG Diploma in Sambalpur Studies / PG Diploma in Human Rights Education / Certificate Courses in Human Rights Education.

Self-Financing Courses

M.Sc in Biotechnology/Executive MBA/Master of Finance and Control /Master of Social Work / M.Tech in Environmental Science and Engineering/M.Sc in Applied Chemistry / M.Tech in Food Science and Technology / M.Sc in Food Science and Nutrition / PG Diploma in Food Science and Technology / M.Tech in Geospatial Technology / MBA in Rural Management.

Eligibility for Admission

The candidate should have passed three year degree examinations in Arts/Science/Commerce/Law (B.A./B.Sc/B.Com/LLB) from Sambalpur University or any equivalent examination from a UGC recognized University.
He/She is required to obtain Honours in the concerned subject or atleast 45% in aggregate in the same examination where the said subject is a "Pass" subject.

For students belonging to SC/ST the prescribed qualifying marks for admission to PG Courses/Self-financing Courses shall not be insisted upon

Candidates who have appeared at the qualifying examinations and results thereof awaited, are also eligible to apply

Such candidates should procedure the results of the qualifying examination on or before the date of entrance test otherwise their applications for admission shall be rejected

How to Apply

Candidates should logon to the website www.suniv.ac.in and click "Online Admission" orhttp://eadmission.suniv.ac.in

The candidates should download the Prospectus for P.G. Regular or Self-financing Courses, 2015-16 as the case may be and read it carefully before filling up of form online

The candidate should deposit Rs.500/- as processing fee through State Bank Collect; the procedure for depositing the processing fee is as follows:

Procedure for depositing the processing fee of Rs.500/- online using State Bank Collect facility; fees can be deposited using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking facility of any Bank besides visiting any SBI branch to deposit by Cash or Cheque drawn on any SBI Branch

Visit online banking website of SBI by typing https://www.onlinesbi.com in the address bar of the browser viz internet explore. Once the home page appears click on "State Bank Collect" tab

The candidates can then fill up the form online; after completion of all the fields in the form, the candidates should click the submit button; thereafter a page will be opened with all the information of the candidate that he/she has filled in

The candidate then has to take a printout of this page (hard copy) and send/submit it to therespective Head of P.G. Dept., Sambalpur University, Jyoti Vihar-768019, Sambalpur (Odisha)along with the following documents latest by 11th June 2015
