TS PGECET 2015 Notification

Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) is a Telangana State Level Common Entrance Test for admission into Regular PG Courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy and Planning (ME/M.Tech/M.Pharmacy/M.Arch / Graduate level Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate) courses for the academic year 2015-16 conducted by University College of Engineering, Osmania University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), a statutory Body of the Govt. of Telangana., Hyderabad

The main objective of TSPGECET-2015 is to identify at the state level, meritorious and motivated candidates for admission to Post Graduate programmes in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy, Graduate level Pharm-D (PB)

Application Form

There are two modes to pay for the application form (i) AP/TS Online (ii) Debit/Credit Card

AP/TS Online Mode: First the requisite fee is to be paid at the AP-Online center by providing details of the candidate such as Name, Father’s Name, Mobile number, Date of Birth, SSC Hall Ticket Number and Month & Year of passing SSC

Debit/ Credit Card Mode: Visit the website www.tspgecet.org

Application Procedure

Candidates are required to apply for TSPGECET-2015 test through Online only (printed hardcopy of the applications will not be accepted)
The application/ registration fee for the test is Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of SC/ST). In case a candidate wants to appear for more than one test, separate registration fee has to be paid for each test
Test is of two hour duration with 120 multiple choice objective type questions, carrying one mark for each question; the cut-off mark in the Common Entrance Test is 25%, in case of SC/ST there is no minimum marks
The examination will be held from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon in the morning session and 02.00PM to 04.00 PM for the afternoon sessions as per the Time Table given in Test Schedule
The Question Papers will be in English only, syllabus of each test paper is given at (Annexure-A)
Candidates must ensure themselves that they have chosen the correct test paper, which qualifies them to become eligible to seek admission to the specific program they are interested in
The details of the courses offered by the Universities along with specified eligibility for each course and test to be written is given at Annexure-B
Candidates should ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria for admission into the preferred program as given in annexure-B
TSPGECET-2015 will be held at two different regional centers in the state i.e., Hyderabad and Warangal
As per AICTE the eligibility criterion for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy is 50% in the qualifying exam (45% for reserved category)
Further, the qualifying degree (Professional courses) obtained under distance mode must have AICTE/DEC approval
The Hall-Tickets are to be downloaded from the website www.tspgecet.org. Without Hall-Tickets the candidate will not be allowed into the test centre

Telangana PGECET 2015 Registration Fee: Rs.500/- as application fee for general category candidates and Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates; in case a candidate wants to appear for more than one test, separate registration fee has to be paid for each test

The application fee may be paid at TS Online / AP online / Mee Seva / e-SEva centres in Telangana State or A.P. / through Payment Gateway (Credit card/Debit card)
