2)Industrial Welding Training

Admission Procedure

• A student has to pass +2 science with PCM from CHSE Orissa or equivalent. The student also is required to qualify for Orissa JEE or AIEEE entrance examinations to become eligible for selection under different disciplines of this institute. 
• Diploma holders and B.Sc. degree holders with mathematics as a subject to take admission in the 2nd year of respective disciplines up to 10% of sanctioned intake provided they qualify in the OJEE lateral entry entrance examination.

• SELECTION: Purely merit basis.
  
• AGE LIMIT :14 to 40 years as on first day of AUGUST of the admission year.
  
• QUALIFICATION:As stated on the above table .candidates having higher qualification may also apply for admission.
  
• RESERVATION:As per Govt. Norms.
  
• PHYSICAL STANDARD:The candidate must be free from any contagious diseases.
  
• HEIGHT:137 cm/417 cm minimum.
  
• WEIGHT:25.4 Kg. minimum.
  
• CHEST:Expansion of chest should not be less than 32" .
  
• EYES:Standard of vision 6 / 13 in each eye or 7 / 12 in one eye without glass in both eye.

1)Library

• BIIT houses a well-stocked library with a vast collection of books and magazines, CDs, Jouranals and renowned international publications. reading rooms with an impeccable study ambiance propels reading habit of the students. 
• Ever since the establishment of institute, BIIT, certain activities have come into the fore which retains BIIT’s core brand positioning. To provide nutritious as well as hygienic food for the hostelites and day scholars is an usual responsibility on the part of institutional management. The two different canteens in the college premises have become fully operational. One is exclusively meant for hostelites which can accommodate 300 students to serve the food at a time. This canteen is well equipped with ultramodern furniture, automatic cooking setting with electric manipulation. This canteen serves different flavor for the adoption of students in an excellent cuisine. 

2)Canteen:

• The other canteen is also serving at its best of a unique recipe for the staff and day scholars. The food is qualitative and it’s available in a very balanced rate. The fooding system creates an utmost satisfaction to the pupil’s need and desire.There is also a refreshment center, Cafeteria which is opened in the academic building. Its serves tea, coffee and snacks in a great extent.

3)Games & Sports:

• The major goal of the physical education is to offer a wide range of physical activities for the benefit and enjoyment of the students. Anything that has guidance by the experts surely leads to success. We want our students to gain something worthwhile in their leisure time too, then let it be the Sports. We have connoisseurs to boost our students by directing them in the chosen activities. This leaves our students with an optimum condition of physical fitness in terms of strength, agility endurance and tension relaxation.This practice has to be regular, so we have arranged for regular intramural sports and competitions. Both, girls and guys are eligible to participate in these sports and competitions. 4)Dispensary::- 
To accomplish anything a sound body is an essential requisite.Body is the temple that should be attended to in order to live a fruitful and sucessful life.We at Bhubaneswar Institute of Industrial Technology understand this as essential and indispensable to lookafter this very important aspect. The dispensary provides medical aid to the hostelites and dayscholars. Van facilities are available for 24 hours to meet the emergency needs of the hostelites and college. The pharmacy service is available 24 hours for hostelites, even during the college hours. A full fledged first-aid treatment is given in the campus to attend the needy. The college has also made arrangements with doctors to attend emergency cases at all times. The college has many support services for the benefit of the students as well as staff. In event of arising of any emergency, college van along with one night duty driver is kept in attendance after college hours
5)Hostel (Boys & Girls)
Students are provided with hostel facilities. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls. All hostels have well equipped fooding facilities and special care is taken of the hygiene of the hostels. The students seeking accommodation in the hostel must apply at the time of admission. All boarders shall have to abide by the rules and regulations of the hostel and shall have to sign an undertaking to that effect. 
The College provides in-campus comfortable and well hygienic hostel accommodation separately for boys and girls. It can accommodate more than 1000 students with spacious well ventilated rooms, individual cots with cupboards.
