About Ghousia College of Engineering (GCE), Bangalore:-

Ghousia College of Engineering recognized by the Government of Karnataka, AICTE – New Delhi, and is affiliated to the Visveswaraiah Technological University, Belgaum.

Ghousia College of Engineering was started in the year 1980. The College is imparting, quality technical education to the students of Karnataka and other states of India. It is owned and managed by Ghousia Industrial & Engineering Trust, Bangalore. The College is a private, unaided, self-financed minority institution.
The college is located at Ramanagaram, 45 Kms away from Bangalore, on Mysore-Bangalore highway. The College is situated adjacent to a picturesque hilly area in a pleasant atmosphere ideally suited for Teaching and Learning process. The students are not distracted by the humdrum of city life.

GCE Principal Message:-

Ghousia College of Engineering (GCE) was started in the year 1980. Ali Janab Haji Nabi Sheriff Saheb started the college in the name of his father Ali Janab Mohammed Ghouse. It is Owned and Managed by Ghousia Industrial & Engineering Trust (GIET), Bangalore and is a unit of Al-Ameen Movement. The College is approved by All India Council for Technical (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated to Visveswariah Technological University (VTU) Belgaum. 2004-2005 was the Silver Jubilee Year of our College.
Over the past years, GCE has developed very well and has been recognized as one of the good Engineering Colleges in Karnataka State. The College has well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty and supporting staff, state of the art laboratory and workshop facilities, Computer facilities, Library and Information Center, outdoor and indoor games, multi-gym, air-conditioned seminar hall and open air Amphi Theatre, round the clock Internet facilities & separate hostels for Boys and Girls on campus.

The Karnataka Religious & Linguistic Minority Colleges Association, Bangalore is functioning since January 2004 is catering to the needs of candidates who aspire for Medical, Dental and engineering with particular reference to Minority candidates of Karnataka. The Association conducts 2 entrance tests annually: One for Post-Graduation and another for Under Graduation. The Association determines the eligibility of those candidates who appear for Entrance Test followed by Counseling. This Association is having 9 Medical Colleges, 10 Dental Colleges and 16 Engineering Colleges as its members.

Reputed companies are visiting our Institute regularly.As many as 30-40 companies are visiting our Institute & inviting our college for pooled campus recruitments. About 70% of eligible students are placed in reputed companies every year.
