Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies , popularly known as GITS was established by Geetanjali Education Society in the year 2002-03. The institute is recognized by AICTE and Govt of Rajasthan and is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota to provide technical and professional education to the youth in general and also the tribal people of the region in particular.
The endeavour of GITS is to make higher education in the region more accessible and affordable to the rural and economically weaker sections of the society in order to create employment opportunities through higher education. It is one of the well institutes of Rajasthan with the focused objective to provide quality education in Engineering, Management and Computer Applications with emphasis on all round development of personality in compliance with the requisite industry standards. The ambience at GITS is inspiring and conducive for acquisition of knowledge and honing of skills. An unfettered spirit of knowledge & exploration, academic integrity & accountability and promotion of intellectual excellence makes GITS distinct from the rest. Lectures and Professors include those with rich academic, research, administrative, and professional experience.

The GITS campus is divided within three departments viz. Management, Computer Application and Technical Studies. All have distinguished record of achievements. Students joining the institute have therefore, an opportunity of interacting with the academic community of the entire complex. The academic environment generated by the interaction between professional disciplines has a stimulating influence, especially in the formative years of young students. Exposure to such environment helps the students to develop good communication skills, an integrated personality and greater competitive spirit.
