East Point College of Engineering and Technology, Bangalorewas founded in the year 1998 by MG Charitable Trust. In the year 1999, East Point Group of Institutions was formally established with the addition of East Point College of Engineering and Technology, Bangalore.

Under the leadership of Sri S. M. Venkatpathi, a successful entrepreneur and a passionate philanthropist, East Point has gone from strength to strength to become one of the preferred colleges in Bangalore.
Urban center school functions underneath the aegis of MG trust. Settled in sprawling field of seventy five acres, the faculty is related to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum.

and a pass in English.
