About Dr.A.S. College of Agricultural Engineering, Ahmednagar

Dr.A.S. College of Agricultural Engineering, Ahmednagar was established in  1969 and is affilaited to Mahatma Phule Agricultural Univesity, Rahuri. It is named after late Dr. Annasaheb Shinde, former Union Minister of State for Agriculture. The College was established  with the admission capacity of 20 students for B.Tech. At present the College admits 50 students for under gradaute. In the year 1982, post graduate. degree programme was started with the admission capacity of 8 students and is affiliated to Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri.

Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere.
