About Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management(CIEM), Kolkata:-

Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management (CIEM-K) , Kolkata was established in 2003 with an aim to develop a Center for Excellence by some eminent academicians, social workers and most importantly the Government of West Bengal. The Institute with 5.08 acres of land has built up a huge infrastructure in the shape of lecture rooms, laboratory rooms, and a central library with other amenities as per the AICTE guidelines.

In tune with the national perspective of Technical Education, Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management has laid emphasis on academic as well as administrative discipline with a view to improving quality of teaching-learning, governance, delivery mechanisms and related matters . Infrastructural facilities including library are being upgraded to serve the best interest of the students.
All out efforts are being made by the Principal, Teachers- in- Charge, members of the faculty and supporting staff for maintaining congenial ambience.
Performance of our students at the University examinations and other competitive examinations are praiseworthy. Parents – management meetings are being held twice a year to keep them updated about the developments taking place in the Institute to serve their wards better and to listen to their problems and suggestions. We have installed Institutional management system software integrating several administrative and academic processes and systems which has considerably enhanced efficiency of our departments, academic as well as administrative.
We invite our students of today and tomorrow to be a part of this great Institute founded by the legendary statesman and social activist Sri Prasanta Sur and nurtured by several educationists including Prof Rama Ranjan Mukherjee.

Admission Details of CIEM Kolkata:-

The candidate must be a 10+2 pass out with PCM (physics + Chem + Maths) combination. Selection is based on candidates’ performance in the Joint Entrance Examination and as per the norms stipulated by the AICTE and the State Government. The institute holds the right to reserve 5% of the seats for AIEEE and/or foreign students on the basis of AICTE norms.
